Convertory ("we", "our", "the app") converts documents and images between formats. This policy explains what happens to your files and what, if anything, we collect when you use Convertory.

Your files stay on your device

File conversion happens locally on your own device. When you convert a file, its contents are processed by Convertory's own conversion engine running on your computer or phone — they are not uploaded to our servers or to any third party over the internet. We do not see, store, or have access to the files you convert.

What we collect

Convertory does not require an account to use the free tier. We do not collect the content of your files, file names, or usage analytics tied to your identity. If a future PRO subscription requires payment processing, that payment is handled by the relevant app store (Microsoft Store, Apple App Store, or Google Play) under their own privacy policies — we do not receive or store your payment details.

Permissions the app may request

Convertory may request access to files or folders you explicitly choose (for example, through a file picker) so it can read the file you want to convert and save the result. It does not access other files on your device without your action.

Children's privacy

Convertory is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Convertory adds new platforms or features. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
